Internal Communication in Catholic and Pontifical Institutions: limits and challenges

International Conference

In an increasingly globalised, complex and changing university context, internal communication emerges as an essential element to strengthen institutional identity, cohesion and effectiveness. This international congress, which will be held from 12 to 14 November 2025 at the Pontifical University of Salamanca, aims to reflect and share experiences on the challenges and opportunities posed by internal communication in Catholic and Pontifical institutions.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Catholic-inspired universities not only transmit knowledge, but also values. Within this framework, internal communication becomes a strategic tool to align all the people who make up the university (students, professors, administrative and service staff) with a common mission, favouring an organisational culture that is coherent with the principles of Christian humanism.

During these days of work, dialogue and meeting, we will explore best practices, analyse legal and technological frameworks, and discuss how university governance and artificial intelligence influence internal communication processes. All of this with the conviction that clear, two-way, people-centred communication is key to building stronger, more humane and evangelising institutions.

We welcome you to Salamanca, city of knowledge and spirit, to think together about how to communicate better inwards in order to serve better outwards.
